I'm Katherine Nicolson, a Registered Nutritional Therapist and I specialise in women’s health and weight loss. Based in Edinburgh, I offer one-to-one online consultations across the UK, providing personalised support tailored to your unique needs.  

My aim is to help you revitalise your energy levels, support digestive health, rebalance your hormones, helping you manage PMS and menopausal symptoms, like period pain, mood swings, hot flushes, and skin issues, like acne and dryness. I also help you support thyroid health and assist you in achieving a weight that’s right for you, so you can feel like yourself again and feel good in your own skin. I have experience in supporting women to manage symptoms related to thyroid, sex, and stress hormone imbalances. I want my clients to feel empowered to take control of their health, without having to cut out whole food groups, getting overwhelmed or constantly depriving themselves of their favourite foods.

My Background & Why I Want to Help You

My passion for nutrition began at school, which inspired me to pursue a degree in Food Science and Nutrition (BSc Hons) at Northumbria University, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Nutrition (PgDip) at Glasgow University. After several years working as a Senior Technical Advisor at a practitioner-based health supplements company, I realised I wanted to help people on a more individual, personal level. This led me to return to education and qualify as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner through a three-year program at the Institute of Optimum Nutrition.

This journey has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to help and support individuals like you in achieving optimal health through personalised nutrition and lifestyle guidance. I am a member of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and registered with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC)

I passionately believe all women deserve to feel energised, amazing in their clothes and in control of their hormones and health, and I want to help you. Working together we’ll create personalised, evidence-based plans, whilst ensuring the changes you make are sustainable and long-lasting. I’ll also be your personal cheerleader, providing the support and accountability you need to help you achieve your goals.
